The making of our poster

Here is the process we went through for making our poster. We kept the Alt-j triangle as we did not want to change the bands look to much and it worked well on our ancillary texts. We created our poster on Photoshop as we needed to do lots of editing such as layering and this is how we added the triangle, having 3 layers, the original image, a black and white version of the image and the shape layer. We changed the opacity of the triangle and we found this colour worked best. The colouring of our writing was chosen as we liked the light and earthy look, not wanting a bright colour as that would not have fit in with our ideas. We have used this image as it had a strength to it that felt bold and more professional than some of our other images, the idea of making it look as though we are a band also turned out well. Overall we feel happy about the outcome of our poster and hope you like it :) Tx Ix
